"Retro Revolution 2" game review

Heyy everyone! Got another game review for you today: Retro Revolution 2. In this game you have to maneuver your way through a tunnel full of obstacles. As you progress though the game, the speed increases, making it harder to dodge the obstacles in time. If you crash into an obstacle the game is over.

The only thing I don't like about this game is that you have no idea how big your character is or where it is... If any of you have ever played Cube Runner (click here for the web version and here for the iPhone version), you will know your character is a small "spaceship" and that makes it easier to play, but in Retro Revolution, you seem to be in the pilot's seat which is more dramatic and makes the game exciting, but will take a little but of getting used to if you have never played a game like that before.

This game is free in the app store and well worth taking a look at if you are into those types of games. Enjoy! 

"Doodle Jump: HOP The Movie" game review

Heyy everyone! I've got a game review for you guys - Doodle Jump: HOP The Movie. This game is a collaboration between the makers of "Doodle Jump" and the movie "HOP" (which comes out April 1st).


Unlike the normal "Doodle Jump" game, you are a little rabbit and you have to hop up platforms to reach the egg at the top. You are also told your score as you are playing, so you know how close you are to the top and there are 25 levels to complete - so all in all, this game isn't exactly "Doodle Jump", in fact, there are other games out there that are more like "Doodle Jump" than this one. I'm really enjoying this game! It's great fun and quite original. It came out just 5 days ago and it's already #3 in the iTunes App charts! It's also a promotion for the movie "HOP" and it's a free app; so, in my opinion, that is an advertising win. :)


I only got this game today, so I'm only on level 3. The gameplay is pretty self explanatory if you are familiar with "Doodle Jump" - you tilt your iPhone/iPod to move and you have to jump from platform to platform and if you miss a platform, you fall and the game ends. In this game, you also have to avoid the stunned chickens which if you hit you lose; or alternatively, you can tap the screen to throw an egg at them or jump on their heads to get rid of them.
